A student nurse working as a Truth Recruitment agency worker is just like being on a bank for a NHS trust.
We are a framework approved agency for the NHS and can supply nursing staff to NHS hospitals in the North of England. At present there are many shifts available for band 2 care assistant and support work staff across the North West. By providing student nurses with shifts in various NHS Trusts you could earn all the while gaining extra experience of working in a hospital.
We also supply numerous private organisations across the North West which are perfect for students wanting to gain experience in different sectors such as nursing homes, learning disability services and private mental health hospitals.
To work as an agency worker for Truth Recruitment you need either a minimum of 6 months’ paid experience in the last 5 years as a care assistant or support worker or have done a 12-week placement in a hospital or clinical setting that we can obtain a reference. Becoming a student agency worker at Truth Recruitment works well for second and third-year nurses and some first nurses who may have previous employment experience.
We can update any training that you need, we will supply you with uniforms, you will get paid weekly into your bank you will accrue holiday pay and can also opt in for a pension.
If you have a full enhanced DBS on the update service, we can use that instead of having to buy a new one. We would need to see the original certificate and take a copy of it and then check the status online. If you have a DBS but it is not on the update service we wouldn’t be able to use it and you would need to purchase a new one. The cost of a new DBS with Truth Recruitment is £49, which you can pay via cash or card at your interview.
We face-to-face interview all of our agency workers and hold interview days across the North West in different locations every week.
